Research, event tracking and data-gathering
Hospitals, academic medical centers, research networks, pharmaceutical
companies, CRO’s and other research organizations can access web based data from
proactive outcomes, process the real time data, and populate outcome database
systems for each study protocol activity or project. Our surveys, reports and
graphing are custom to each application. We work with each client to meet
the needs of each of the many players within their organization - physicians,
clinicians, patients, analysts and study or department management.
We provide a dynamic, scaleable, flexible base and then we add on to meet
each client's requirements. We also provide a scheduling application
where you may start a patient with one schedule for a certain amount of time,
then set up any number of subsequent schedules and the dates they will be
active.
Security is both vertical and horizontal. You may have a system
administrator that sets up the locations and the surveys for each location, then
a department or study administrator over each location where they only see their
patient responses, outcomes and reporting. The patients can only reach
their particular survey.
Each survey can be custom or you can choose to use the JCAHO approved MDASI.
There is no limit to the number of locations, departments, and surveys.
Alerting options are set for each survey question, as each question may be
weighted differently.
CSI is focused on providing solutions for
P4P (Pay for Performance).
Our MDASI survey is JCAHO approved.
Our Clients agree:
We could
not have been able to monitor our cancer patients, follow their
treatment symptoms and provide the immediate response when they required
it without both an IVR (automated out-calling) and Web solution.
Our study helps the physicians know which treatments are working, and
gives the patients a way to reach us when they need it, plus the
patients are more likely to be honest on an automated survey. It
removes the influence factor that is inherent in telephone calls.
There is
no reimbursement for a nurse making these calls, and therefore we could
not fund the extra person that it would take to keep up with the 150
patients that we are monitoring.
We monitor the
patients on varying schedules, which we set up on the web portal.
The system lets us know when a patient requires a follow-up call (email
or fax). This has helped us provide better care, lets the patients know
that we care, and therefore has provided better results.
They can elect to
receive their phone survey and set their day/time, they can call in to
take the survey, or they can choose to take the survey on the web.
Most choose to do the survey over the phone, using their keypad to
answer the survey questions.
